The Spiritual Path is not easy

It will bring you to your knees,

time and time again,

as you meet your edges,

as you meet the parts of yourself where you hold back or play small.

So why do it?

Because in those moments when you choose to soften, let go, and simultaneously expand,

you meet yourself in a whole new way.

You meet your essence.

And in that moment you feel like you’ve come home…to yourself.

And it’s bliss.

And then you hang out there for a while in the ecstasy,

until you forget once again who you are,

until you meet another edge,

and then the cycle begins again.

The agony and the ecstasy of the spiritual path.

A constant spiral inwards.

A constant spiral home.
